He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary; his children, Kirk (Jennifer), Dona Romano (Vincent) and Laura Yama (Paul); and his grandchildren, Shanna Botos (Nathan), Jessica Wright (Cameron), Cory Stonebrook (Tiffany), Meghan Stonebrook (Adam Burdett), Amanda Meeson (Jeff), Jenna Urban, Samantha Novak (Nicholas), Brenda Groselle (Jason), Renee Yama (Joshua Greene), Lauren Stanzi (Rick) and Philip Yama (Jenny).

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimers Association (alz.org) – Team Stoney;s Steppers or Disabled American Veterans would be appreciated.

“Kirk and Donna and Laura, I am sorry for your loss. Your Dad’s was a life to be cherished and emulated. I remember him as a welcome sight at Lake when I was a young teacher afraid of students’ parents. His smile and warm words gave me confidence. I am sure he was the same with his employees and family. And I remember that no matter how old you are, when both your parents are gone, the world is a bit emptier for you. Cling to each other, as I know you will. Rick and Jeanne Koenig”
