He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kerkel and Rose Kerkel (Dunnam); and his sister Lynn Kerkel. He is survived by: his wife Maria Kerkel (Sofranac); his sons, Michael (Shari), Joseph and David Kerkel; his granddaughters, Rhiannon and Rosie; and his brothers, Phillip (Barb) and Robert Kerkel.
