He was predeceased by: his son Robert J. Meyer (Jeanie); his parents, Joseph C. Meyer and Gertrude Jean Meyer; and his brother James Digby. He is survived by: his wife Benedetta "Betty"; his son Jeffrey A. Meyer (Lenora); his grandchildren, Kimberly Bednarski (Jason), Robert J. Meyer III (Whitney), Marie Holloway (Matt), Daniel C. Meyer, Catherine Speer (Joshua), Anthony A. Meyer, Mark Meyer (Holly) and Joseph Meyer; his siblings, Joseph "Bud" Meyer (Edith) and Mary Ellen Padgett (Jim); and also Daisy. He is also survived by grandpa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the DeJohn Flynn Mylott Funeral Home - Willoughby Hills (28890 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44092). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
