He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jane V. Blatt; his children, George J. Jr. (Kathleen), Mary Jane Gorman, Robert Ford, James Gorman, Susan E. Blatt, Martha Doran (Joseph), Leo Blatt (Nancy), Gregory Blatt (Becky), Rosemary Garriga (Pete) and Ellen Blatt; his siblings, Edgar J., Raymond G. Blatt and Geraldine Kramer; and his friend Emma Moore.
