He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Duane Thomas Jr. and Lizzy; his parents, Duane Gardner and Cindy Gardner; his siblings, Dana Kaufman (Tom), Dane Gardner (Amber) and Dylan Gardner (Jordan); his parents-in-law, Debbie Oldani (Dave) and Ray DeFrancesco; his sister-in-law Lisa Kosier (Kyle); his nieces and nephews, Owen, Wyatt, Lincoln, Bryson, Oliver, Lorelai, Brooklyn and Lillian; and his grandmothers, Shirley Karner and Pat Gardner. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Friends Church (2846 SOM Ctr Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
