He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret and John J. Sr.; and his brothers, John Jr. and Larry (late Penny). He is survived by: his sister Bonnie Varanese (late Tom); his nieces and nephews, Amy DeBaltzo (Nick), Julie DiCillo (David), Larry Jr. (Kristin), Jacquie Houser (Jon), Tom Varanese and Sarah Neff (Matthew); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jake, Abby, Tyler, Darren, Cate, Andrew, Jenna, Allie, Madzie, Jack, Nathan, Jayce and Josh; and his friends, Bill W. and Dr. Bob.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeJohn Flynn Mylott Funeral Home - Willoughby Hills (28890 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44092). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
