It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Smith (Willoughby Hills, Ohio), born in Alliance, Ohio, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Carol Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carol Jean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dearth and Dorothy "Jean" Dearth; and her brother William. She is survived by: her boyfriend Bob Collier; her son Bill Smith; her brother Richard; and her pet Sleepy.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home (28890 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44092).
