With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert F. Gerkensmyer (Williston, Ohio), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on October 3, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amiel Gerkensmyer and Emma Gerkensmyer (Buss); his wife Ethel Gerkensmyer; and his sister Virginia Arnholt. He is survived by: his daughter Terry Wilson; his grandchildren, Kevin Wilson (Jennifer) and Robert Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Korrin, Trent and Elijah Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's name can be directed to Allen-Clay Joint Fire District or Genoa High School Athletic Department.
