He is survived by: his wife Darlene Zunk; his children, Randy Carstensen (Tonya Maix) and Brenda Carstensen (John Weber); his grandchildren, Douglas Hoar, Amanda Boris (Bobby) and Nathan Hoar; his great grandchildren, Layla, Landen and Leo Boris; and his siblings, Robert Carstensen (Carol), Dennis Carstensen (Dianne) and Sharon Potter (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving family members, and dear friends.
