Phyllis Dye Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Dye of Williamstown, Ohio, born in Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis O. Dobbins and Shirley Mae Dobbins (Moore); her husband Along; her siblings, J. Geraldine McCammon, Sarah Dobbins Carver and Robert Dobbins; and her nephew Donald Dobbins.
She is survived by: her children, Gary L. Dye of Marietta, Joyce E. Dye, Janet M. Dye of Williamstown, Nancy J. Diehl of Dover, OH, Kenneth and Elizabeth Dye; her grandchildren, Steven L. Dye (Jackie) of Marietta, Michael L. Dye of Marietta, Emily S. Diehl of Marietta, Kevin J. Diehl of Marietta, Vanessa L. Moses (Steve) of Frazeysburg, OH, Gloria Diehl of Cincinnati and Alex B. Diehl (Kristina) of Brenham, TX.; her great grandchildren, Haley Dye, Bethany Dye of Marietta, Moses Dye, Nahum Dye of Lowell, Zachary Watson and Andrew Watson of Frazeysburg; and her sister-in-law Emma Jean Dobbins. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews, and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association in West Virginia, Norwood United Methodist Church or Gilman United Methodist Church (which she attended numerous times with her daughter) or the Human Society of the Mid-Ohio Valley.
