He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Culver Walters and Lena Mae Cline; and his brother Freddy Walters. He is survived by: his spouse Shelley Sue Carver; his children, Douglas Leander Walters of Williamstown and Hannah Leigh Kern (Landon) of Marietta; his grandson Easton Culver Kern; and his siblings, Ricky, Bobby, Jon Walters, B. I. Cline, Terri Combs and Cindy Ollom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
