He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hooks and Ruth Hooks (Wilson); his daughter Dianna; and his brothers, Paul and Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hooks (Newton); his daughters, Connie and Kay; and his grandchildren, CariAnn Fannin (Sean), Jennifer Rodgers, Wayne Rodgers (Lindsey), J. D. Akison (Krissandra), Matt Kim (Beth), Lisa Sowers (Brian), Katrina Hawley, Kelly Thomas (Laura), Alesha Kennedy (Mark), JonJon Richard (Kelly), Lori Cupoli, Dylan Richard (Kenzie) and Damon Richard (Caitlin). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid Pandemic and health safety of all a private family viewing was held Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Masonic Services.
