He is survived by: his children, Melvin Craig, Melanie Eldridge (Kevin), Karla Vanatta (Brian), Robert (Lisa), Gary (Amanda), Curtis, Shannon "Beau" Davis (Angel) and Jeremy Carter; his stepmother Joyce Davis; and his siblings, Vella West (Jimmy), Diana Lewis (Dale), Jeanie Donohew (Mike), Sherry Jordan, Gary (Sandy) and Shane Davis (Shawna). He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
