He is survived by: his children, Melissa Smith (Tim Workman) and William Smith (Cassandra); his grandchildren, Taelyla, Zylen, Truanda, Jasmarra, Kelvyn, Kieara, Kayleigh and Octavia; and his sister Janis Carson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
