He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Halcomb and Thursa E. Franklin (Huff); his wife Greta Halcomb (Jessee); his brothers, Jack and Carl Franklin; and his stepsiblings, Johnny, Ben Franklin and Romona Maidmont.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Innis (Steve) of Williamsburg, Ohio; his grandchildren, Micah J. Innis (Brittany) and Jessica Staats (Mike) of Fort Wright, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Carman, Ronin, Reagan Innis and Sophia Staats; and his stepsisters, Peggy Ayres (Terry) of Manchester and Janey Wilmoth (Roger) of Milford, Ohio..
