He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Fithen; his children, Melanie Smith (Anthony), Sylvia Fithen, John Stephenson and Michele Brewer (Dwanye); his siblings, Mary Ellen Latham (James), Ethel Carrington (late Donnie), Bill, Harold, Emma and Clara; his grandchildren, Danielle, Katilyn, Kiana and Daniel Taylor; and his great grandchild Ivy Raye.
