He was predeceased by: his parents, Odus McBride and Susan McBride (Tary); his wife Connie McBride; his children, Katherine McBride and Rodney McBride; and his brother Clifton McBride.

He is survived by: his children, Faith Clark (Steve), Ricky McBride (Emma Lee), Pamela McBride, Markey McBride, Tricia Jones (John) and Michael McBride (Melissa); his grandchildren, Sabrina Fordyce (Dennis), Ricky McBride (Rachel), Ryan McBride (Chaylyn), Amber McBride (Brad), April McBride (Corey), Nathan McBride (Krystal), Benjamin McBride, Samantha Nelson (Cody), Heather Nelson, Joshua McBride, Kristina McBride, Hannah Jones and Alyssa Jones; his great grandchildren, Dennis Jr., Logan Fordyce, Gracelyn, Ricky Asher McBride, Alexa McBride, Jamie, Nylah McBride, Patricia McBride and Theodore Alig; his siblings, Dorothy Woods, Shirley Smith and Diane Cook (Bobby); the mother of his children Alice Vernatter; and his daughter-in-law Dianne McBride.
