She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gemmel and Ottilia Gemmel (Moschkau); and her siblings, Alfred, Robert, George, Emil, Johann, Charles, William, Lester Gemmel, Dora Finney, Doris Hill and Bernice Spady.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary Griffin (Laura), Allen Griffin (Melanie) of Mansfield and Brian Griffin of Willard; her grandchildren, Brandi Shepherd (Eric), Kyle Griffin, Allen Griffin, Jr. (Robyn), Rachel Griffin and Joshua Griffin; her great grandchildren, Kadin Shepherd, Adylynn Griffin, Hayden Shepherd, Amara Griffin, Kyle Griffin, Jr. and Jenny Lynn Griffin; and her sister-in-law Char Gemmel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
