He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Yelensky and Helen Yelensky (Kudela); his wife Carol S. Yelensky (Thayer); his children, Michael Yelensky, Yvonne Yelensky and Janice Flowers; his grandson Christopher Yelensky; and his siblings, Steve Yelensky, Joseph Yelenskly, Charles Yelensky and Helen Washtak.
He is survived by: his children, Carole Madera of Dayton, Ohio, Jim Yelensky (Sandy) of Sandusky, Ohio and Roberta McVay; and his brother Dr. Donald Young of Lake Tahoe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
