He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Dawson and Lillian Dawson (Vance); his brothers, James, Randy, Kenny and Robert Dawson; and his aunt Elsie Stockmaster.
He is survived by: his wife Shari Dawson (Harris); his daughters, Brandi Shepherd (Eric) of Bellevue and Aleta McCoy (Stephen) of Norwalk, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kadin Shepherd, Hailey Shepherd, Lillianna McCoy, Noah McCoy and Wesley McCoy; and his close friends, James Lawhorn of Willard and Gene White of Willard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
