With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Knowlden of Willard, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary Lou may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Staley and Bertie Staley (Reed); her husband Bernard "Bernie" Knowlden; her siblings, Patricia Harrison (Bud) and Jim Staley (Vicky); and her stepdaughter Carol Hansel (Hank).
She is survived by: her brother Joe Staley (Anita) of Philo; and her stepdaughter Dixie Gilliland (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
