He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Edward; and his wife Mardelle M. Schiffel. He is survived by: his children, Nathan Schiffel (Melissa) of Delaware County and Renee Profit (Matt) of Lewis Center, Ohio; and his sisters, Ruth Armatrout (William) of Willard and Marsha Schiffel of Median, Ohio.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
