James D. Carpenter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2025, at the age of 89, James D. Carpenter of Willard, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James D. Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolla Carpenter and Martha Carpenter (Schultz); his wife Phyllis A. Carpenter; and his siblings, Evelyn Johnston, Lenoa Zeigler, Paul, Raymond, Eugene, Robert, Gerald, Everett and Phillip Carpenter.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Carpenter, Carol Carpenter and Ann Carpenter; and his grandchildren, Kara Eldridge (Matthew), Kaci Foster (Kaleb), CJ Carpenter and Hope Carpenter. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (401 E Howard St, Willard, OH 44890). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Willard Athletic Boosters or Dementia Society of America.
