Gerald A. Steinke Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald A. Steinke of Willard, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Steinke and Rose Steinke (Moser); his in-laws, Leland and Verna Layne; and his aunts, Marie Chinnicci, Hilda Moser and Kathleen Ilkka.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Gaye Steinke (Layne); his daughters, Melissa Durbin (Scott), Kristina Reed (Mace) and Mandy Carper (Jarrod Johnston); his grandchildren, Logan Wenzel (Mike), Jake Carper, Carter Reed, Sophie Durbin, Lyla Reed, Finn Reed, Alina Durbin, Brady Carper, Max Durbin and Drew Carper; and his brothers, Tom Steinke (Peg) and Bruce Dinse. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Alliance Church (609 S Conwell Ave, Willard, OH 44890). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
