He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hirschy and Ruth Hirschy (Bowen); his former wife Doris Hirschy; his wife Ingrid Hirschy; his brother Paul Hirschy; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Hirschy.
He is survived by: his sons, David Hirschy Jr. (Lisa) and Tom Hirschy (Connie); his grandchildren, Meagan Ousley (Scott), Jackson Hirschy, Brandon Mantell (Andrea), Jacob Hirschy, Zach Hirschy, Nick Hirschy and Katie Sommers (Steve); his great grandchildren, Presley, Charlie and Ava; and his close friend Nancy King.
