He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney F. Owens and Dorothy J. Owens (Durbin). He is survived by: his wife Louise Owens (Lux); his children, Brent "Birdie" Owens (Mary) and ReNea Owens (Darrah Metz); his grandchildren, Emma, Abby and Hugh; his pets, Radar, Mattis and Waffles; and his siblings, Rodney C. Owens (Diane) and Vicki K. Keefer (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Therapy K-9 Program, Buckeye Paws Therapy Dog Program or Southern Care Hospice.
