Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Meriam Spires (Wilkesville, Ohio), born in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 100, on September 11, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. "Will" Campbell and Minnie Huston Campbell; her husband Robert Earl Spires; her granddaughter Amanda Spires; and her siblings, Ava Miller, Dan Campbell and Wayne Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Liz" Zinck (Vincent) of San Francisco and Jim Spires (Hoppie) of Carroll, Ohio; her grandchildren, Wendy Spires, Susanne Spires, Rachel Benson (Mike Demmer), Marel Zinck and Laura Covington (James); and her great grandchildren, Quinten, Preston, Sasha, James, Zach and Matthew. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions in Meriam's name be given to the First Presbyterian Church in Wilkesville.
