She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Lewis and Lenora Lewis (Davis); her husband John Alfred Wood; her siblings, Wayne, William "Bill" Lewis and Carolyn Wylodine Weatherby (Lewis); and her grandparents, Evan, Ceynor Davis, Lawrence and Catherine Lewis.
She is survived by: her son John Alan Wood (Ann); her granddaughters, Brittany Ann Prowse (Jamie) of Vinton and Brooke Ashley Francis (Derrick) of Chillicothe, Ohio; her great grandchildren, Trenton Evan Francis, Daxton Woodson Francis and Lincoln Mathias Prowse; her sister-in-law Carolee Lewis of Oak Hill; and her close friend Kathy Fitzpatrick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, lots of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions in Jo Ann's name be made to the Wilkesville Presbyterian Church or the Wilton Civic Center.
