It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bishop McKinley Young (Wilberforce, Ohio), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 16, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy Jackson Young; his children, Karyn Young-Lowe (Ron), Deana McAllister, Jr. (Julius), Andrea Jones (Roderick) and Stephanie Lynn Young; his grandchildren, Jennifer Renee, Jessica Christine Lowe, Julius Harrison III, Colin McKinley Young, Dylan David Jeremiah McAllister, Peyton Leigh, Noah Parker and Miles Owen Jones; and his brothers, Lonnie H. Young and Roland Young.
In lieu of flowers and because of Bishop Young's ongoing support of education, the family requests that donations be made to Wilberforce University in honor of Bishop McKinley Young.
