He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene; his grandson Kevin Uncapher; and his brothers, Alex Szokan (Helen) and Gabriel "Buddy" Szokan. He is survived by: his children, Tim (Linda) and Lori Uncapher (John); his grandsons, Tim Szokan II (Elaine), David Szokan (Sarah) and John Victor Uncapher; his great grandchildren, Stefani, Ashley and Andrew; and his close friend Annamarie Miller.
