He was predeceased by: his wife Jean M. Markle; and his grandchildren, Brian Markle, Jr., Charles Markle and Mike Smith. He is survived by: his children, Don Newsome, James Newsome, Emma Small, Ken Smith, Kim Knight, Brian Markle, John Newsome, Troy Markle and Victoria Markle; and his great grandchild Bells.
