She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Percy George Thompson of Washington and Lois Dawson; her sons, Angelo Houston and Mario Houston (Candis); her grandchildren, Heather Houston, Angela DeBondt (Brett), Myles Houston, Camryn Houston and Angelo Houston Jr.; her great grandchild Wyatt Houston; her siblings, Willie Edward Thompson, Virginia Harrison, Katherine Orr, Pearl Coleman, Kenneth Thompson and Percy Thompson Jr.; and her former husband Henry Houston Ruby. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
