It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J Balchak of Wickliffe, Ohio, born in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Julia; and his brothers, Bernard, Paul and James.

He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Sharon K. Balchak (Willoughby); his wife Kathryn; and his parents-in-law, Michael Hidock (Jane), Patricia Kaufman, Joseph Federowicz, Mary Lou and Arlene Balchak. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
