Marie George Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie George of Wickliffe, Ohio, born in Euclid, Ohio, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nightingale and Margaret Nightingale; her brother James Nightingale; her father-in-law Richard L. George; and her sister-in-law Joyce George.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Nieset (Craig) and Sharon Hanslik (Christopher); her grandchildren, Brianna Nieset, A. J. Hanslik, Ashley Nieset, Gabriel Hanslik, Jacob Nieset, Caleb Nieset, Trey Hanslik and Owen Hanslik; her mother-in-law Teresa George; her siblings, Irene Blachowski, Bill Nightingale (Jackie), Tom Nightingale (Bonnie), Kit Sabatos (Doc) and Bob Nightingale (Maureen); and her husband Dale George. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
When schedule conflicts, pandemic protocols or health issues prevented her from attending events or getting together in person, Marie frequently relied on FaceTime or the Marco Polo app to give her a front-row seat or a way to chat over a cup of coffee.
