He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Thelma; and his son Jason Phelps. He is survived by: his daughter Ericka Stewart; his grandchildren, Whitney Gudbranson and Austin Stewart; his great grandchild Autumn Lynn; his siblings, Pat Joyner (Doug), Bill Phelps (Charlene) and Tim Phelps (Karen); and his cousins, Dale Phelps (Roxanne), Susie Miller and Rosalind Savoca.
