She was predeceased by: her parents, Justin Rijavec and Julka Rijavec (Petrovcic); her husband Louis "Lojze" Burjes; and her sisters, Paola Rijavec, Juliana Gorensek, Hermina Bonutti and Maria Kozman. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, nineteen great nieces and nephews, and 6 great-great niece and nephews.
