He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Sanderson (Ritzman) and James Sr. Sanderson; his brother Bruce Sanderson; his great-niece Elena Yakumithis; and his great-nephew Frasier Burt.

He is survived by: his siblings, James Jr. Sanderson (Judy) and Cindy Bailey (Sanderson); and his sister-in-law Connie Sanderson. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions are appreciated to the American Diabetes Association or Life Connections of Ohio.
