She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hazel and Carl; her children, David Ortner, Amy Suleski (Thomas) and Jennifer Grube (Dan); her husband Fred; her sister Jean Thompson; her grandchildren, Lexi, Brittany, Hunter, Brandyn, Cayden, Caleb Ortner, Sarah, Johnathon Grube, Emma and Abby Suleski; and her great grandchildren, Easton and Asher Franklin. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Community of Christ Lutheran Church building fund or for a memorial bench to be placed at Whitehouse Primary School.
