He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Simons and Joyce Simons (Lamb); and his brother-in-law Lyle Hettinger. He is survived by: his wife Mary Simons (Okuley); his children, Laura Kamcza (Randy), Michelle Pelton (Michael) and Daniel Simons (Molly); his grandchildren, Connor, Hannah Kamcza, Austin and Willow Pelton; and his siblings, Eric Simons (Karen) and Sharon Hettinger.
Rob was able to be present for the birth of ¾ of his grandkids (because one was a covid baby) but he saw her the day she came home from the hospital.
