She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Newton and Helen Newton (Winover); her son Robert Herman; and her siblings, Warren Newton, Robert Newton, Gordon Newton and Margaret Hari.

She is survived by: her son Thomas Herman (Diana); her daughter-in-law Linda Herman; and her grandchildren, Paul Herman (Ammy), Amy Phillips (William), Phillip Herman (Allison), Annette Beck (Eric), Tammy Rush (Ed), Ken Lang and Becky Madden (Shawn). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

The family suggests giving memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
