He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donald Tucker, Jerry, Tony and Carol Nitkiewicz; and his grandson James David "JD".

He is survived by: his wife Joann (Bottles); his children, Deborah (John), James D. (Sandra), Robert (Kathy), Roger (Lyn) and Paulette Burghardt; and also Precious.
