Dolores Almester Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Almester of Whitehouse, Ohio, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Kirkendall and Marie Kirkendall; and her brother Burl Kirkendall. She is survived by: her son-in-law Eric; her children, Michael Katich (LeAnn), Timothy Katich, Amy Almester Thompson (Eric) and Frank Almester (Lisa); her grandchildren, Kris Koval, Kelsey Katich, Samantha, Frank and Grace Almester; her sister Helen Shekeruk; and her boyfriend Floyd "Butch" Johnston. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation in her honor be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Florida Pointer Rescue of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
