He was predeceased by: his parent John C. Rober; his siblings, Joe and Ruth Ann Schultz (Judyth); and also Trisha. He is survived by: his wife Rosalind "Roz"; his daughters, Kim Cramer (Andrew) and Brooke Potts (Geoffrey); his stepchildren, Laura Schweickert (Vince), Jeff Thomas (Shelley), Matt Thomas (Vickey) and Ryan Thomas (Melanie); his grandchildren, Brittany, Jessica, Caitlin, Reid, Blake, Whitney, Andrew (Cassie), Ellyn (Adam), Emily, Claire, Molly, Natalie, Adia and Emma; his great grandchildren, Henry, Adler, Ansley and Madelyn; and his brother Paul Cook (Nancy).

Memorial donations can be directed to Sunshine Children's Home in Maumee or Community of Christ Lutheran Church in Whitehouse.
