He is survived by: his children, Darlene King (Chip Marlow) and Derek Hina; his grandchildren, Stone King, McKenna King, Kristen Ward (Robert) and Korey Hina; his great grandchild Benjamin Ward; his brother Gerald Hina (Linda); his sisters-in-law, Rose Hina and Doris Hina; his son Dwight Hina (George Sanderson); and his brothers, Bob Hina, Don Hina (Evelyn) and John Hina.
