He was predeceased by: his parent Harold Ansel; his wife Arlene Ansel; his sister Betty Taylor; his brothers-in-law, Russell Gabriel, Merlin Gabriel, Robert Gabriel and Paul Denton; and his grandchild Billy Joe Ansel.
He is survived by: his parent Thelma Ansel (Barnett); his children, Kathryn Bollinger (Pat), Karen Micheli, Zachary Ansel and Keely McBride (Jeff); and his siblings-in-law, Juanita Gabriel and Ronald Taylor.
