He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne F. Spaulding and Eva K. Spaulding; his stepfather Irvin H; his wife Regenia A. Spaulding; and his siblings, Charles Spaulding and Katherine Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Hardy (Ken), Jan Bootcheck (David) and Rick Spaulding (Liz); and his grandchildren, Kevin Hardy, Rebecca Ritchie (Hardy), Jay Spaulding, Jan Nesteroff (Spaulding), Emily Portal (Bootcheck) and Sarah Bootcheck. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests. Memorial contributions be made to the Wheelersburg Athletic Association in Dick's name.
