She was predeceased by: her father William Thompson; her husband Harry Goodan; and her siblings, Billy, Jimmy, Bobby, Richard, Gladys Black, Isabelle Swain, Dora Midiam and Charlene Gaunce.
She is survived by: her children, Harry Goodan, Jr. and Tangela Wheeler (Bob); her sister Ruth Martin; her grandchildren, Carie, Heath, Lee (Stefanie), Melissa (Matthew), Nicholas (Courtney) and Natalie (William); and her great grandchildren, Kiara, Mikhayla, Caleb, Jayla, Aaliyah, Gavin, Gage, Grayden and Jaxon.
