He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Adkins and Dorothy Adkins (Springer); his wife Mary Adkins (Moore); and his sister Sandy Adkins. He is survived by: his children, Kerry Adkins (Penny), Jerry Scott Adkins and Teri Kielmar (Dave); his grandchildren, Andy Kielmar, Shannon Grice, Allison Ahern, Jamie Haas, Ian Adkins, Seth Adkins and Delaney Adkins; and his siblings, Earl Adkins Jr., James Robert "Bob" Adkins, Tim Adkins, Lois "Sis" Yates, Bonnie McLewis, Linda and Barb. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
