He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyal Marcel and Hazel Abbott Laber; his wife Phyllis Joye Laber; and his grandson Charlie Laber. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Laber and Jacob Laber; his stepsons, Jerry Sparks and Kevin Sparks; his daughter Marjorie "Elaine" Alley; and his siblings, Harold Laber and Marjorie Woods. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
