He is survived by: his children, Phillip Reece Pennington (Ruby McCarty Pennington) of Ashland, Kentucky and Teresa Lynn Cantrell of Winchester, Kentucky; his siblings, Hager Keith Pennington of Oil Springs, Kentucky, Betty Louise Lemaster of Cambridge, Bonita Sue Conley (Jeff) of Springfield and Mary Effe Tackett (Ben) of Xenia, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Donathan Eugene McCarty (Rachel), Brent Allen McCarty (Melody) and Heather Danielle Johnson (Mark). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.
